When i try to start Powerdirector 8, the splash window with the lady and camera starts, a blue circle is turning and then after a few seconds i get the errorwindow

"PowerDirector werkt niet meer" "Er wordt naar een oplossing gezocht"

In English

"PowerDirector doesn't work anymore"

Then I can't do anything.

Powerdirector has allways worked on my computer.

Who can help me! Thanks

Hi Dodrain -

Here's some oft repeated advice to resolve your issue...

Go to http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/ and download the latest version of Quicktime. The current version is 7.6.7

Hope that helps -

Tony

Hello Tony,

Thanks for fast support.

I have installed the Quicktime 7. Now the start-up of Powerdirector goes 1 step further. Now Powerdirector doesn't stop while the splashscreen of lady with cam is shown.

Now Powerdirector stops working while loading SampleClips\Ginko.jpg then it give same error.

"Powerdirector doesn't work anymore"

Any ideas?

I have installed PDR 8 as administrator and allready made clean uninstall and again new install.

Thanks in advance

What about your Video Driver, is it up to date?

How about Page file space?

I'd try opening task manager (Ctrl+Alt+Delete) and watch what other processes are happening when PD is starting up. There might be something else interfering with it.

Cheers - Tony
