Magic Music...only has 2 free songs, I am doing something wrong?

Am I doing something wrong because I can only find 2 free songs in all of the categories.

Free songs appear to be in BOLD and are at the top of the list.

This seems pretty lame. I thought it came with loads of backgroung music?

I sure hope I did something wrong as other video editors come with a lot more songs.

Hi, I have the same problem, only a couple of free songs in each category, seems stingy!
So what is the "contents pack", and where do I find it?

(I have PowerDirector 8 Deluxe on CD)

Hi K,

You should find the CONTENT pack on your installation CD. Power Director is a 2-part installation.

I found a file PDIR/SmartSound/MusicFile_full on the CD, but installing that doesn't seem to help. Is there somewhere else on the disc I should be looking?

I am only familiar with the downloaded install of Power Director, and once the download is complete I have two files. The two files look like this:
PDR8_Program_2704_VDE09104.exe
PDR8_Content_1931_VDE090609-01.exe

Install the first file and then install the second file to complete the installation.

But from your description it sounds like you might have everything. There are about a Dozen Songs....within each song you will find some variations of the songs. If you have songs like: Bach Guitar. Blues to Go, Boulevard Funk, Hot and Spicy, Island Party..etc. etc. then you have everything installed.

Maybe the CD version is a single file installation.
