Create Disk Menu question

Hi,
I have produced two small movies of my grandchildren using Samsung flash Memory camcorder.
I also created my own background for these and such.
Now when I go to 'Create Disc' menu and 'Modify a static' menu to incorporate my own Background everything goes good til' I try and change the default 'My Videos' title name to 'My Grandchildren' I can't edit the text accordingly? I have to insert another title and use my grandchildren..then highlight the original 'My Videos' and remove alll the shadows, outline and color so as it is invisible.
What am I doing wrong?
Jim
p.s I have gone to PDTools and looked at the videos but the options there don't seem to work. I have PD8 version 3022 installed

I noticed that I cannot edit the default 'My Videos' in the Menu Designer window but I am able to edit it after I save the menu and then open it in the preview window. Hope that helps.

From my experience, that's the way PD operates. You cannot change the "My Videos" on the edit page but you can change it after you've saved your changes and have gone back to the Create Disk tab. The only problem I've found, is there is no way to center it up exactly on the Create Disk tab. Here is a work around I have done:
When you enter the Modify page: Click on the "My videos" and use your arrow buttons on the keyboard and just run it off the page till it cannot be visible on the screen (I usually go quite a ways after it dissapears from the screen) and then go ahead and add new Title buttons. The "My Videos" will not be displayed on your finished video.
Hope this works and if anyone else has a better solution, I would be glad to hear.
Thanks and good day.

John, BJ

I hae no problem editing the 'My Video' on the edit page in the Create Disc module. Here is what I do.

1. Go to create disc module.
2. Move your mouse over the words 'My Video', you will see a box appear around the words. Click to select. See image pd8select.
3. Use the 'delete/backspace' keys to remove the text, then insert the text of your choice. See image pd8edit
