PowerDirector 8 does not recognizes Sony HDR CX-520V

I tried to capture HD video from my camcorder connected to computer by USB cable, but PD8 did not recognize it at all. What needs to be set either on a camcorder or a PD8? Thanks. ASUS P8Z68 deluxe

Unless you are trying to capture live video straight from the camera into PD, which I don't even know if it is possible, why don't you just take the video with the camera then transfer it to your your hard drive? Surprise. My camera is not on the list either, though it is available on the market for at least a year. I thought that Cyberlink keeps up with the market. ASUS P8Z68 deluxe
