Upgrade Confusion
[Post New]
I wonder if anyone here can help.

I have PowerDVD v8 OEM 6CH (provided with my Samsung Blu Ray drive) and would like to upgrade to v10 ultra because of the better Win7 MC intergration, but am confused by the pricing. When I look on the site it gives 2 options £39.99 from 8/9 ultra and £59.99 from 8/9/10 standard/other versions. If I click the upgrade link from my installed PowerDVD it says its £37.99 (with 5% off).

My question is is the OEM 6CH version treated as ultra and if I purchase will it install OK as its not actually ultra. I dont want to buy to find it will not work. The reason for the question is that I have found a store where I can purchase the full Ultra (boxed)version for £60 from a 3rd party site but would prefer the cheaper upgrade if possible

Well the link they gave me doesn't answer my question.
I see where the complaints about customer service come from now, very frustrating. Asus P8Z68 V-Pro Gen 3, Intel i5 2500K @4.5GHz, Thermalright Silver Arrow, 8GB Corsair Vengeance LP, EVGA GTX 670 FTW Signature 2, Corsair Force GT 120GB SSD, 4X Samsung F3 HDD, Samsung Blu ray, Antec DF-85
