Q: is it possible to apply Magic Motion on a selection of pictures?

Seems only active if 1 pict is selected.
I have 1000picts in my timeline and I only want some slight motion/zoom in the pictures

Stephan -

Have you tried the Motion Slideshow template?

For 1000 images, that'd save you a lot of keyframing! Once PD builds the slideshow, you can customise it if you want.

In this tutorial, at about 3:30, it shows how - http://www.youtube.com/user/PDtoots#p/u/1/jXG2jDTHyKw You may not need that, but it's there if it helps.

Cheers - Tony

Thanks Tony,

This indeed is a good option.
It does remove the option to manually set a custom length on a certain picture .
Nice how to on YouTube, gets us newbies going in 10min.

Thank you Stephan -

Glad it helped. Once you get going, there'll be no stopping you.

If you'd like particular images (let's say images 20-24) to appear for longer you could try:

1. Motion slideshow for images 1-19
2. Set individual duration & motion for images 20-24 (with fade transitions)
3. Motion slideshow for 25- etc
4. With a fade transition between 19/20 & 24/25, it will all link together nicely.

Cheers - Tony
