Hi,
I recently bought PowerDirector Deluxe, but have recieved a Blu ray burner for B day. How do I upgrade PowerDirector Deluxe to Ultra to get Blu ray functionality? Is there a Plug-in you can buy? The website doesn't have an upgrade discount from Deluxe to Ultra at a reasonable price.

This has been asked before and I never saw the answer, but you would probably have to contact CyberLink customer service to do this. If you can wait, PD 9 is in beta testing. I have no idea when the release date will be, but it is coming. __________________________________

Thanks Jaimie,
Yes I have been to the website several times looking if there is an option but to no avail.
I can wait for awhile yet...I am patient ..

Hi James,

For some illogical reason, it is not possible to upgrade from PDR8 Deluxe to Ultra, CyberLink will allow you to upgrade PDR7 to PDR8, but not PDR8 Deluxe to Ultra. If you contact Technical Support, they will advise that you need to purchase the full PDR8 Ultra at the current price with no discounts.
As Jaime has advised, hang in there and wait for PDR9
