The program installed with no problems on my Vista Home Premium computer but I noticed one thing when I run it. After double clicking the icon to start the program, it takes at least 4 or 5 minutes to actually start. The first time it happened, I thought it froze on the start up screen, so I closed it. Then I tried it a second time, but was patient and finally started up. Does anyone else have a problem with their PowerDirector program taking so long to start? I never had a program take over 5 minutes to start up before.
I am also curious as to what video capture device or card everyone uses. I am trying to use the HAUPPAUGE - WINTV - PVR 150 but I don't think it's compatible with PowerDirector 6.0. It actually takes the program 10 minutes or more to even find my capture device and when it finally does, there is no picture or sound on the screen. My guess is that my capture device is not compatible. I want to be able to hook up my VCR or analog camcorder to a capture device but was wondering what the best device is to use with this program. One that is Vista compatible.
