Hi,
I have only had PowerDirector 8 a few days so bear with me. So far I have been learning the features available in the various 'modules' by watching PDToots videos, but would like some clarification on the following:
A. I create another project with videos of my Grandchildren at a Birthday Party, produce the and call it Second Birthday.
b. Create another project with videos from my second grandchild on there 3rd Birthday and call it Third Birthday.
c. Create another project with Videos of them at Christmas. produce and Call it "Chrstmas"
Now when I get a projects done and am ready to make a DVD containing above mentioned project, do the individual Projects (when added to content) in the 'Create Disc' module result in each separate project being a chapter and displayed in the Scenes.

I believe the answer is yes, they are their own separate chapter. I haven't done it myself, but I do believe that is how it works from what I have seen. __________________________________

James ...Hi, I have only had PowerDirector 8 a few days so bear with me.

Hello James,

Specifically what do you expect from your main project final Menu?. JAIME its right. The way you insert your 3 projects in the “Create Disk” would generate the following disc structure:

ROOT (PLAY + SCENES)
..|__ PLAY (Will play the 3 projects consecutively)
..|__ SCENES ( Show another title/chapter sub menu with the 3 projects)

Now if you edit and add to each project chapters, the structure would look like this:

ROOT (PLAY + SCENES)
..|__ PLAY (Will play the 3 projects consecutively)
..|__ SCENES ( Shows another title/chapter sub menu with the 3 projects)
.........|__ TITLE 1 (1st Project, shows another sub menu with the corresponding new edited chapters)
.........|__ TITLE 2 (2nd Project, shows another sub menu with the corresponding new edited chapters)
.........|__ TITLE 3 (3rd Project, shows another sub menu with the corresponding new edited chapters)

Hi Jaimie,
Thanks for the reply. I kinda thought that may be the way it worked but wasn't sure, nice to have a conformation. I have only had the program a few days so still trying to comprehend the ins and outs. I used to use DVDLab to do DVD 5 years ago but they stopped working on it.
One more question since I have your attention? When you design these chapters and insert a title page on each. When the 'Create disc' runs my new collection of the Chapters with tiles, when played on DVD Player and you select the Chapter does the title page show also?

Do you mean subtitles?

Hi Nicolas,
No not subtitles. ON the Edit section where you insert your camera videos, you have the director little icon on the left, then below that there is an icon for putting Title page, if you create a title page for each project, then 'Create Disc" with the projects as in previous post, do 'titles' show when choosing that specific chapter on final DVD?

Ok just asking because you confuse me the way you call it (Title Pages). You are referring to the Title Room [T]. Yes Titles text is will part of your final clip and you can see how they appear in your project previewing the movie it in the same edit tab before going to the Create Disc.
