Error C00C0005 or C00C0009 when burning disc

Hi! Yesterday, I was able to burn BD-RE discs without issue.

After powering up the PC today, I loaded PowerProducer 6 and my saved project file from yesterday.

Then I added five chapters to each video the disc.

Systems specs at the time of burn:

  • Cyberlink PowerProducer 6
  • Disc space status reads "20955MB/24202MB".
  • 240GB are free on my C: drive.
  • 50GB on my 64GB system RAM are free.
  • CPU usage is at 5% when idle (AMD 5950x, not overclocked.)
  • The Pioneer Blu-ray burner drive is new and has lasted 2 successful burns so far.

I erased the disc and tried to burn to updated menu. After 20 minutes, "initializing disc", I get the C00C0009 error.

I then tried a new blank disc. Started the process again. 20 minutes later, when it started "initializing disc", I get C00C0005 error.

Nothing else has changed, and I can't imagine how adding chapters could case this problem.

But I found little on C00C0005, and nothing for C00C0009.

What do these error codes mean?

Thanks!

Hello,

It could be a memory issue, so try rebooting your computer first, and then try burning again.

If that doesn't work, try the suggestions in this FAQ (checking the relevent PowerProducer features), including contacting CyberLink support:
