Hi everyone! My PD 365 is crashing upon startup, after a few seconds after selecting a new project or open an already existing one. Is anyone else facing the same issue? I tried uninstalling and installing Power Director again, with no luck.

tThanks

Hello,

Please remember to include the requested information when posting about technical issues. Most importantly the DXDiag.txt file.

Is it possible your computer is using the 531.41 version of NVIDIA GPU driver? There has recently been some reports of it having conflicts with Windows and causing crashing issues.

Cheers

Thanks for the quick reply. I have included the DXDiag.txt file under a ticket I have raised for this issue, but I was not ware of the Nvidia driver issue. I will check the version to see if this is it. Regardless, I have also updates the nvidia driver after the issue appeared, so it seems it may not be related to the driver itself.

It was indeed the NVidia 5.1.41 GPU driver causing issues. After I upgraded it to the .68 version PD no longer crashes.
