"Virus Detected" On Application Manager Download

Trying to download applcation manager to install power director, Chrome and Edge both delete the download saying it has a virus. This is new and never happened before. Also its weird because the download has a (1) in the file name like its a copy. Not the computer, its easily reproducable

Actually it is your computer, possibly a registry setting regarding secutiy, permissions or group policy. You might even be infected and the malware has attached itself to the newly downloaded file.

Here's what happens when I download and install the CAM:



I would run my a scan with my antivirus program and also submit the downloaded file to have multiple AV programs evaluate the file. See this article on options.

Brand new laptop, with fresh install of windows 11 pro. Since I hadnt even installed anything yet, reinstalled windows again same problem right after installing

Just tried right now and it downloaded just fine, it was deff an issue on Cyberlinks end 100%.
