Hello everyone,

I am new to the Cyberlink Community Forum and tried to find an answer to my problem, but couldn't find it.

Today I tried to download and install Photo Director.

I downloaded the software at: https://www.cyberlink.com/downloads/trials/photodirector-photo-editing-software/download_en_US.html

I was able to download the file, but when I tried to install (already tried several times, also after restarting my laptop multiple times) the software after 8% I get the error 'The extraction of the Data1.7z installation file was unsuccessful.' (see attachment)

My laptop is an Asus Vivobook X7600PC with Microsoft, Windows 11, System type x64, 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11370H @ 3.30GHz, 3302 Mhz, 4 Core(s) processor.

I still have more than 40GB storage available.

Is there anyone who could help me to find a solution to my problem?

Much appreciated!

Kind regards,
Maurice

Hello,

This is usually a symptom that the PhotoDirector Essential installer has not been fully downloaded. Can you make sure that it has downloaded? You can also try rebooting Windows, temporaruly turning off any anit-virus software, and then try downloading again.

If this still doesn't work, then I'd suggest you contain CyberLink Support:
