No audio when creating videos

New computer with new download of Power2Go 13. When attempting to edit a clip (usually mp4) or preview a video to burn to DVD/BluRay there is no audio. If I burn the DVD, there is audio on playback but I can't listen to the project prior to burning. Audio in the computer works fine. Has anyone seen this before?
