HDR freezes when applied

I have a iMac which has a NVIDIA Ge Force GTX 675MX 1Gb graphics card. When I apply the HDR affect to a clip and adjust settings it freezes/crashes my PD 365

Is this likely to be because my mac is 10 years old and the graphics card is not good enough?

It is so annoying as I would love to produce sharper videos

More than likely, the requirements for HDR do put a strain on processing. I have no direct experience of your system type and would recommend that you raise a support ticket [link in signature below] and see if support can confirm that your system will struggle with this sort of enhancement.
