windows alt r shortcut key will not work.

Windows alt r keys pressed at the same should start screen recorder but it does not.
Any ideas??

That's Windows native screen recorder, it has nothing to do with CL Screen Recorder.

Well if this is so it does not open anything including windows screen recorder but thanks for the input

Are you by chance trying to use shortcut key on the Windows Desktop? If so, open a app first. You can also launch the Windows native screen capture from "Windows + G" shortcut too.

Not sure just what is going on here but pressing windows alt r does nothing. Pressing windows and G does nothing. Oh well....Happy New Year all.

Again, none of this is related to CL Screen Recorder. Open that like any other app from the start menu.

Sounds like you don't have the Windows native screen recorder on, Open the Start menu, and select Settings > Gaming > Xbox Game Bar and make sure to Enable Xbox Game Bar.
