How to use motion tracking with a video with a green background

Ok,

another silly question where I did not find any answers with Google.

So I have a video where I want to add motion tracking to a video with a video with green background. I know the basics of chroma key, but I have no clue how to do this. Is there a way to use chroma key onto a video when you're attaching the motion tracking video?

I would recommend against trying to do both effects on the same timeline.

Why not do the chroma keying in a separate project and then add that finished video to your timeline and add Motion Tracking to it?
