Hello all,

Via combinations of manipulating key frame and image attributes, I can animate the position/size/rotation/opacity of a PNG. How do animate the flipping (horizontal or vertical) of a PNG?

Thank you.

Hello,

Currently animating a vertical or horizontal flip is not possible in PowerDirector. You can currently only rotate images clockwise or counterclockwise. It is a good suggestion that I encourage you to send to CyberLink as a request in a future release:

I would try placing two copies of the clip on the timeline with the second one in the flipped position, then place one of the Geometric transitions at the junction and see if you like the result

Opto has the right idea.
2 images of the same image, one reversed, or it actually be anything the same size (just for visual smoothness).
Key the first image to shrink bringing the left and right sides together till they all but disappear and then, after previously keying the second image to near-nothing expand the left and right sides to the size you intend.
It will appear to be rotating.
I've used transitions, also. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)
