Using self created frames for chapters..thumbnails

Hi,
Back again. I created a 400x400pix image I want to incoporate as a chapter thumbnail. It is saved in .png format. I can get the image into my menu bit can' get the chapter video to appear in the transparent area.
The transparent area is a 'self defined' shape. Any help appreciated.

The Black mask is not transparent.

You need to make the Black part transparent.
