Is there any way to increase the duration on a transition.

When you first place the transition in the timeline, or click on the transition, there is a button just above the timeline that says duration. Click that, set the new length and click Ok. __________________________________

However, it will not let you set it to more than half the length of the shortest clip that it is next to. __________________________________
