Yep: Call up Task Manager = Ctrl+Alt+Del
Processes tab
You're looking for PDR8.exe, PDHanumanSvr.exe and maybe RichVideo.exe
Highlight each
Select End process

Ok, managed to close PD8 down following your instructions re PDR8.exe.

Then the ONLY way I can open the troublesome (or any) video is to go to the PDS file and open it from there.

Having done that two videos STILL STOPPED at the first transition. So I set the transition to 4 secs and it worked ok but stopped (hung) at the next transition. ie just the same as before. This is with newly downloaded PD8 software.
