"PowerProducer has not detected a burner on this computer"

Even after following the below, i get this same error:
"PowerProducer has not detected a burner on this computer"
then the following error is:
"Your new drive needs to be registered. Please login as the Administrator, Run PowerProducer again, then restart your computer to register this drive."

I've reinstalled, and also ran ccleaner afterward, but no difference. Can anyone help?
Windows XP, on PowerProducer 5.0 and the 5.02 or 5.2 update (I forget).

Furthermore, this happens only in an non-admin account.
