Help!,
my powerdirector 5 refuses to capture music from CD , It worked in PD4, Now it only wants to capture from my TV or Radio. I have tried everything.
My PD5 Crashes every time it is in use.
I have plenty of memory, plenty of space 92% resources free. But it likes to lock up , then crash. I always save anthing I begin because i know it will crash.
has anyone else encountered the Crashing and the inability to record music from a CD ?
Not really a newbie, Just had given up on PD 5.
Thanks,
Frank

Hi, I dont know if this will help. Have you tried adjusting to lower resolution? Have you closed conflicting programs like msgs.exe?

In my experience, the failed reason might be:

1.AP conflict issue, try to re-install PDR again.
2.ODD issue, try to use other drive to capture ACD.
3.Audio driver issue, update the audio drive form H/W vender website.

BTW, the version that I used is PDR5 Premium 1808.
Wish this can help you. :-D

Hi!

Do you use the CD with protection mechanism? (ie: Cactus Data Shield... )
