Fred -

If that's the GPU you've been using for video editing, I think you deserve a medal! http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/video_lookup.php?cpu=MOBILITY+RADEON+XPRESS+200

What is your definition of [b]cheap[/]? I guess you won't be looking at what these guys are talking about! http://directorzone.cyberlink.com/posts/list/1705.page

I can't even pretend to be a tech-talk guy, but it's be worth looking at the reviews here... http://www.newegg.com/Store/Category.aspx?Category=38&name=Video-Cards-Video-Devices

Cheers - Tony

Haven't been editing on this machine, thankfully...cheap for me is $100-150

I probably won't be editing AVCHD or HD on this machine, just basic camera videos.

If your not going to be playing games at extreme resolutions on this computer (and with a P4 you probably will not) I would not spend over $60 on a video card. I was able to get an Nvida 9500GT on rebate a year ago for about $50 and that edits HD video just fine. At this point you could get just about anything in the $50-75 price range and you will be fine for basic video editing. Since the CPU is a P4 I would not suggest AVCHD anyways.

Here's the link to my current card. It's currently out of stock, but you get the idea.

Here's the link for something better which I would have gotten if I had a larger case. It's currently on sale.
