Uninstalling PowerDirector easily, appears to be governed by the computer in which it is installed, maybe a conflict of other program .dll's which are installed.
Many users seem to face a mountain of issues to uninstall the program, ranging from missing files, InstallShield problems, registry etc.
Yet most users have no issues at all, just uninstall via add/remove programs then reinstall the newer version, I have only ever needed to uninstall via add/remove then reinstalled, but my computer is only basically used for video editing, I do not have a multitude of programs, only those necessary for editing.
