Where did all my effects go?

Hi,

It's my first time posting here as I've never really had any problems with Powerdirector.

I've just renewed and updated and all of the effects in the FX room that i regularly used have all disappeared.
I don't remember specific names or packs that they came from, but for example i frequently used the "Blur" effect on a video when overlaying an image or text.

Any idea how i would go about getting these effects back in the FX room?

The Effects should be in the FX room. It is good to understand which version of PD you have and whether you have 365 or a 21 version.
In a fairly normal installation there would be over 550 effects, a number become available when you click on them after which the effect is downloaded.
You may also include a screen shot of your effect room, so that we can help and point?
