media file won't release after produce

I produce files with powerdirector 365 with no problem and close PowerDirector. If I try to open or delete my initial media file it says it is in use by PowerDirector even though it is closed. I have to restart my computer to open or delete the original media file. After restarting, I can delete the file with no problem

Is there a bug in the latest version of PD? Does anyone know a way to fix this?

If you're using shadow files in any of your projects it might take PD a long time to finish generating them. If you want to stop all PD processes without rebooting, take a look at this old post.
