Files in "Media Content" have audio, but not in the tracks below...

I import a video file of our security camera. If I double click it up in the media contet it plays, with audio. I pull the exact same clip down to Track one, no audio. I'm in real time preview, it is NOT muted, and there is NO wave length or any content whatsoever in the audio line on the track. Yet, the clip plays perfectly with audio in all media players AND in PD's preview screen if "launched" from the Media content section...

...suggestions?

Hi,

Security camera clips are notoriously variable for PDR to handle but :-

Try Select clip in the media libray, rt click >Extract Audio and see if PDR gives you a useable audio file to drop in
and/or
Post the mediainfo analysis of the clip for members to study - https://mediaarea.net/MediaInfoOnline
or
Run the clip through Handbrake to transcode to a "standard" format and see if that works for you.
