Does Power Director 8 support AVCHD Lite found on an increasing number of compact stills cameras?

Hi Rob -

AVCHD Lite is just the 720p variant of AVCHD, as I understand it. They both use the same MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 compression.

PD supports AVCHD.

Cheers - Tony

Thanks for this. :

Its interesting because on a a few other bulletin boards, members write that AVCHD Lite is not compatible with other editing software such as Final Cut Pro, i Movie, I know these are Apple apps but before I go purchase a new camera I wanted to confirm Power Director 8 can handle the format.

Can PD8 handle RAW images?
