The surround sound audio is not passed over the optical SPDIF. It does not matter which Blu Ray or DVD i insert they all do the same audio.
The powerdvd info box shows different audio, but the audio output always says LPCM 44KHZ/16bits 2 channels.
Version 2201 used to say compressed data.
Version 2320 said LPCM 44KHZ/16bits 2 channels, but never passed any audio except menu sounds when interacting.
I am glad to see 2528 fixes the menu issue with 2012, but upset that my audio is reduced to 2 channel.
I am using optical SPDIF to my pioneer receiver which works fine with 2201.
attached are zips of the different install reports from directx, msinfo32, bdadvisor, and collectuserinfo.
Fix the audio issue when using SPDIF.

That information is in the extra zip files (msinfo32.txt, dxdiag32.txt, dxdiag64.txt inside the 2201a.zip, 2320a.zip, and 2528a.zip files), but i will keep it even more simple.

I use an Intel DP45sg with its onboard audio (IDT 92HD73E)

I can not reproduce your issue on my test systems.

can you please send a snapshot (photo) of your Audio settings dialogue of POwerDVD while playback?

Items used for snapshots:
DVD Law Abiding Citizen DD5.1
DVD Collateral DTS (select through audio setup or force the audio channel)
Blu Ray Hitman DTS HD Master

DVD I could snapshot the screen through windows...
Blu Ray it seems the screen shot through windows is disabled so i took crappy camera pictures...

I will get more accurate information on the titles when i get home and edit this post then.

Installed 2320 update and rebooted. Nothing else changed.

It was suggested I try to MIX the DTSHDMA to other formats.
