Need to make right channel audio play on BOTH speakers (resolved)
[Post New]
I have a video that I captured, but the audio is only on the right speaker. Can I make the audio play on both speakers during production?
Properties show "Stereo"...can I convert this to "Mono" and get both speakers speaking somehow??

Hi Fred,

Here's one possible option (?)

Might be one possible solution, however the video is 720X480...windows AVI only had the option of 640X480 and that would "skew" the video!!

Hi Fred,

Yeah, I see what your saying. But I suppose one could still Produce it to Avi 640x480 mono > place this 640x480 produced file in your project's library > use Extract Audio to just get the mono audio file > Place your 720x480 video in the master track and mute it's audio > drag the extracted 640x480 mono audio into an audio track.

Yeah, I know that's maybe a long way around the mountain, but if you're running out options at some point, that should work.
Just a thought Fred.

Did you try the CLVS option in the same thread? I have used that before in this situation and it has worked.

CLVS No effect.. still single speaker....
Produced to AVI MONO, Extract Audio, Mute Clip and add WAV file.

This worked! Not sure the effect this has on the overall filesize, but it did make the audio play correctly.
