I have read your 'read me first' thread and I am sorry, but it doesn't mean much to me. I am not technical.

I just upgraded from Power DVD6 which has been great to V9 Ultra. It does not seem to want to play any DVD's and I get an error message 80040216 - Internal Error.

I am on Windows XP Home

Can you help? I am mystified why a newly downloaded programme will not play. I've paid. It's registered etc.

thank you.

Hi Samantha,

The FAQ for this error suggests you may need to update your video driver.

Thank you. I will have to get my PC tech in to sort this out. I am not aware I have an outdated graphics driver as I am usually up to date with these things for my own work but I'll let him look.

I keep seeing mention of Version 8 but not Version 9 Ultra which is what I purchased, perhaps it is not meant for this PC.

Sam
