I have a 50 GB blu- ray disc with about 4500 mb allready burnt onto it and working. I want to add another video to it but PD version 8 want to erase it first before it allows the second video to be burnt. Can a second video be added without erasing the first, and how to do i? Graeme.

I am not sure about BD discs, but on CD's and DVD's, you have to let the disc allow sessions when you burn the first video. I don't think PD has an option to do that since video discs usually only have one movie on them. If the disc was finalized you can save the contents of the disc to you computer, then burn them back to disc, along with the new video. __________________________________

That is the point,I dont want to burn again. It took me 32 minutes to burn the first video, i average 4 GB per video, 4 into 50=12.5 videos @32 minutes=6.6hours,that is doing it all at once. Now if I erase the eleven videos each time to put a new one on that is 72.6 hours.I think my wife is getting the divorce papers ready now.Can someone save my marriage. (Blu-ray Disc-ReWritable) means rewritable Blu-ray disks, which are officially called "BD-RErecordable" (BD-RE) - they cannot be added to, to my knowledge... only erased and re-recorded... just like DVD-RWs.

Here's a wiki reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blu-ray_Disc_recordable

Unfortunately they are slow compared to DVD's. I hope that helped. __________________________________
