Dear Members,

I'm starting to run SVRT inter-compatibility test with maker/camera file outputs.

I have around 100 cameras (sample files) at the moment and would like to cross reference each to see if SVRT kicks in between different models sample files. If it doesn't then I've wasted my time, but if it does "work" I think the info would be of use to members who want to buy a second camera.

I'm aiming to cover the different HD formats and will publish my results asap.

I have a request for members who's cameras don't appear in the below list to please provide a 5 second sample file - attach it here.

A Nikon Mov, though I do not think Movs will utilize SVRT as Movs, however as MP4 it screams with SVRT.
The Canon shot is very low-light, but if I add +1 Video Enhancement, it looks great! Looks so good I may not get a new camera!

Don’t know if a Canon 5D, is basically the same as a Canon 5DMkII (which is already on the list). But knowing that a friend has few 5 & 7D Canons for his business, I asked and he provided me with some samples to share for the PD SVRT testing here.

Attached is a Canon 5D sample.
But again, it may be redundant to offer it, as a 5DMkII sample is already on file.
If in fact redundant, then please just remove this post Dafydd.

Thank you Cranston, 5D and 5DmkII are likely to be the same if later/newer models. I have grabbed the footage and welcome the addition.

Update: The testing is going well and there is inter-compatibility but some results have made me smile.

For example: Creating a Custom GoPro Profile for its HD MOV files gave the GoPro SVRT but when a ContourHD MOV file was added to the mix, the ContourHD claimed the GoPro Profile and there was no SVRT for the GoPro HD in the same track. Like I said, it made me smile.
