Hi,
I FOUND a few topics on this issue here, but no SOLUTION on them

I have a PD10 Ultra version which was installed successfully on my XP machine an year back though the software was running painfully slow in that machine (blame is on my computer processor NOT PD10).
Now, I installed the software on my brand new Windows 7 HP laptop WITH AN ACTIVE INTERNET CONNECTION.
The installation was successful, but two errors:

1. When trying to open an .mts video, a message opens up asking to activate H.264 Component - I click "Activate" button, and it fails with the following error message. The laptop is connected to the internet.
Codec-activation not succesfull. This can happen because no internet connection is available of disconnected or the activation key of the program is wrongl or the activation limit has exceeded its limit

2. If I click "Try Now" instead of "Activate Component", the video opens. However, when I try to add the video for editing, PD10 closes citing an error reason
"PD10.exe has stopped working" and it crashes. I have Quicktime installed already on this laptop.
This error doesn't happen if I open PD10 in "Express Feature" option.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I purchased the software through an authorized seller in EBAY. The Key can be given as prrof of purchase if needed.
