PD 7 Registration screen won't go away

Hi. I have PD 7.0.3017 running on Windows 7. I originally purchased this when I had Windows Vista. I bought a new laptop with Win 7. The old laptop has been wiped and reformatted. PD installed just fine on the new machine, and I can create DVDs just fine. But the Registration screen never goes away. I have filled out the registration information a couple of times but the screen comes back every time I start PD. I did enter my registration key from the email, and verified it in my on-line account. I have the key correct.

Any idea why the registration screen keeps coming back? Windows firewall is disabled, but the router firewall is active. I've never had to add a rule to the firewall to allow outgoing traffic.

Hi Alan,

Welcome to the forum.

Go to C:\ProgamFiles\Cyberlink|PowerDirector and rename or delete the OLR Submission Folder.

Robert

Thank you! That did it. Must have something to do with Windows UAC and PD not having elevated privileges to do what it needs.

I just came to the board to post this same question, but I saw this first and it did the trick. Thanks!
