Just purchased PhotoDirector 8 and can't find a way to import from a scanner. Nothing in Help file. Intel i7 4770k, 16GB, GTX1060 3GB, Two 240GB SSD, 4TB HD, Sony HDR-TD20V 3D camcorder, Sony SLT-A65VK for still images, Windows 10 Pro, 64bit

Hello GGRussell,

Welcome to the PhD forum laughing

PhotoDirector doesn't directly interface with scanners, which would explain the lack of reference in the Help files.

Here, I complete the scans separately, then import the files into PhD from the scanner's output folder (just as you would photos from camera, SD card or HHD).

Thanks but I have literally thousands of old negatives that I need to sort and choose which needs scanning. Very disappointing that PhD8 doesn't have a feature that most image editors have had for over a decade. I'll probably just uninstall PhPD8. Don't really like the interface/work space design anyway. Guess I'll continue using my old image editor. Intel i7 4770k, 16GB, GTX1060 3GB, Two 240GB SSD, 4TB HD, Sony HDR-TD20V 3D camcorder, Sony SLT-A65VK for still images, Windows 10 Pro, 64bit
