After countless hours of testing I think I understand how it works.

Evidently it was not creat a unified vision, perhaps by more people. Being the full order.

But poorly assembled, if it were not completely redone (desired solution) you could at least

In PREVIEW WINDOW permit

1) a change of the colors fonts in the MAIN MENU and SCENE MENU

2) change the size of tumbneil in MENU SCENE

Tanks

Given that the creation of DVD menus is particularly cumbersome, after so tribulare I managed to compose a menu with four pages each containing 4 titles.

From page 1 you should be able to pass on the following pages. This works in the PC using the pointer, but when you switch to TV, with DVD player remote control does not know anymore what to use navigation key to switch pages.Someone could help me,

I thank you and greet you W 10 64 , pc Dell XPS 8000 - core i7 2,8 GHz--ram 6 MB--GEFORCE GTX 1050TI 4GB - SSD 256 + 2x630--area Pal

It seems that you forgot to include the menu thumbnail and/or button highlights on your created menu. How would you know what to move on the remote control if nothing highlights on your menu. Go back and add them to the menu. Sure clicking on the menu buttons and thumbnails with a mouse cursor on your pc works.

Here is one of many menu making tutorials that may help you: http://www.cyberlink.com/learning/video/6/create-customized-disc-menus-with-menu-designer . There are many others too that might also help.

I looked at the various tutorials.

Made and remade many trials. Also used black menu without any changes.

The ability to change pages works only in preview with the mouse.

With the remote control on plyer dvd does not work changing pages.

I give up, I think the program it is very poorly done.Tank you W 10 64 , pc Dell XPS 8000 - core i7 2,8 GHz--ram 6 MB--GEFORCE GTX 1050TI 4GB - SSD 256 + 2x630--area Pal

The menus created in Powerdirector do not use the main Menu button on the Disk player Remote.

Look for a Title menu or Top Menu Button on the Remote.

PD is the hardest video editor to create DVD menus in. there are many pitfalls.

There is a very old Disk creation tutorial. Much is obsolete

Dear Carl,

I followed your advice, unfortunately it does not work.

Cyberlink should be ashamed for not having repaired this crap.

I am very angry, in September if not solve go on to Sony.

Thank you so much for your time and expertise.

bonagege,

I, too, have experienced frustration using the disc menu function in PD. I have also read where many others have had this problem as well.

In my case, however, I consider PD to be such a powerful and relatively inexpensive video editor that it is my editor of choice. I am willing to deal with the menu problems and/or use another disc creation program in order to continue my otherwise rapturous love affair with PD (a little hyperbole there, perhaps). Regards,
Dan

Hello all!

In regards to the disc menu when burning one of my videos to disc, I tend to take the "path of least resistence", meaning I tend to use only the pre-existing templates, changing only what's necessary, from "My Videos" to whichever title I want, and perhaps reposition the title a little. Beyond that, I don't change much at all. I found PD5 and 7 much more compliant when it came to creating "custom" menu templates but not so easy with PD8 or 14, That's the drawback, it inhibits a user's creativity. Thus far I've only used PD14 to author one disc successfully(an earlier attempt failed) and that problem hangs on the ability to set the grade of video to be authored, as I've commented on elsewhere. But for menus, PD14 has effectively discouraged me from trying to create my own templates. Such a shame, really, as personalised DVD menus add that bit extra to a home-made video presentation.

Neil.

Menu Designer is an easy to use tool allowing a competent editor to "play" and create a unique menu design to be proud of.

I solved it by changing the DVD player. I switched from a PIONEER DVD RECORDER to a SMSUNG D 530 player W 10 64 , pc Dell XPS 8000 - core i7 2,8 GHz--ram 6 MB--GEFORCE GTX 1050TI 4GB - SSD 256 + 2x630--area Pal
