I think people are not having much success when trying to post images with the newly updraged forum software, so I'm testing out a couple of different ways to see how well they work.

Test 1: pasting screenshot directly into post does not work.

Test 2: Save screenshot as PNG, then upoload to Imgur.com. Copy the email and IM (Direct Link) from the Imgur image page and paste in the forum editor's Insert/edit image dialog box. Add any text you want for the mouse flyover, and adjust size as needed to fit the forum. (This image is actual size)

This works in the live editor and also if I hit the preview button, so let's see if it shows up when the message is posted...

test image of current PD13 version

EDIT: Success!

I hope that they get all this working with win IE which should be the default. Some progammers work with macs insists that what works with macs also work with IE. I know one such programmer.

I did this with IE11 on Win8.1. What problems are you having?

I'll try a few times with "the old" way - and I believe it works!

I'm on FireFox. Attachment box is way out on the side. An old problem, sometimes fixed, sometimes not.

optodata - I am using win7 IE11. The thumbails are all blank above this line above. Answered a different post earlier using post reply and that editor crashed so I tooked a screenshot and resubitted it here: htthttp://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/43000.pagep://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/43000.page 5th thread down.

Google chrome would display all the above thumbnails with text properly on a different pc.
