Title Creep in PD11?

Hey All, I'm hoping someone might have some insight into this.

I've started making videos where I'll create a long title with various text, images that I'll split at certain points to add/update it with new numbers, etc. So basically everything is remaining static until I add new elements to it.

Similar case/problem can be found in this thread:

After the first couple of splits, everything will start to shift/creep to the bottom right & messes up the whole alignment. Anybody know a fix for this? Or is it gone from PD12? I have the latest patch installed.

THANKS IN ADVANCE.
Joe

Hey Joe -

Yes - Title Creep is still present in PD11 (build 3265).

This will occur if you split a title, then modify a split section... even if you don't actually modify anything!

The same behaviour is exhibited when you copy & paste a tile, then modify the pasted title (i.e. enter Title Designer, even without making changes).

I know of no fix, but the annoying & time-wasting process of re-aligning the text.

PD12 doesn't have the problem, as far as I can tell. It has its own little foibles!

Cheers - Tony

Downloaded the Trial of PD12 & it still seems to be there. I'm going to run some tests & see if I can figure out a workaround.

Submitted a bug report too, see if they have any insight...

Ugh. Such a time waster

Cheers
