I think Power Director 10 has a way of easily removing a clip without having everything else afterwards shift, but how do you do it in PD9?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
A Simpsonesque handle - quite amusing.

Use right click on clip and select "Remove & leave gap"

Did that help?

PowerDirector 11 has far better tools and choices to edit with. I suggest you upgrade to it.

I don't see that option when I right click on a clip in PD9. I had a demo version of PD10 that had the option to either remove or remove and leave gap; is it possible the feature was added after version 9?

Hi,
Update your version of PDR9 by applying the last patch for it that was released and you may find the option.

PowerDirector 9
2011-09-16

Updates: This update file updates PowerDirector 9 to PowerDirector 9 build 3305. For PowerDirector retail and online purchase versions only.

PDR11 has different options. I have attached an image of those choices. PDR11 is your best option.
