PowerDVD playing Tivo files

Can anyone get Tivo files to play in PowerDVD 13?

I can open them but all I get is a blank black screen. Convert them to a mobile format using Tivo Desktop plus and they play fine but it is time consuming.

They open and play fine in Windows Media Player but then I lose all the advanced features of PowerDVD 13.

Note I'm in Australia so the format of the Tivo files might be a bit different from elsewhere. PD12 Ultimate Suite (upgrade from PD11 Ultimate). PhotoDirector 5. PowerDVD13. YouCam 5.
