Hi

I am creating a video with a number of chapters, nothing difficult there!

My problem is when I come to create the disc.

I select it to return after each chapter, but find it does not do this; it just carries on to the next chapter.
Why does this not work??

I believe that playback mode only works for Titles/Projects.
It does not work for Chapters defined in the Chapter room if that is the only video.

Titles/Projects??
How do you use it then in these modes??

I think what you sate is :-

Import say four separate projects ( which were chapters)

and link them via the root menu.

Is that correct??

I will try this to see if that works.

Not too much problem to change the chapters to projects!

Hey guys I am new to Power Director. The main reason I purchased it was for the clip management & edit. But I had a bit of trouble with another DVD authoring tool so I tried using Power Director's Create Disk and found the same issue the Mad Camera man had. The playback mode will not return to the title page after playing the selected chapter. It just continues on to the next clip. After attempting to build a DVD with exiting projects (3 titles) with multiple chapters (up to 37 each) the system would not even return to the title page nor the root menu with a DVD player. It works on a computer however. Suggestions?

Hi Carl -

As (the other Carl) stated above, selecting the 3rd playback option - Play the Selected title only - your disc will return to the menu after the selected title is played.

If you have a number of chaptered projects, you can import them directly into the Create Disc module. This thread explains it http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/28345.page

So - you've imported your 3 projects (each with their own chapters) & you've selected the Play the Selected title only option...

Here's what will happen when you play the disc:
1. Root Menu opens > select Scenes
2. Scenes menu opens > Select title
3. Title will play through all chapters then return to the sub-menu for that title
4. Click Home & select next tile to play.
