I have a new windows 8 computer coming with the above software.

Current windows 7 computer has Power Director 10.2231 & Power dvd 11.0.2408.53 which i will put on new computer.

What is suggested procedure for handling this situation? thanks.

(i assume i should uninstall whatever old oem version pc manufacturer put on it, but sometimes that is not so simple.)
