People have had this problem before, I know, but all of that seems to only be in PD9 and I'm getting it in PD10, everything that people have posted before to try and fix this has not helped AT ALL.
This problem in when editing, a little bar appears under your preview and renders every single second seperatly whilst editing, It takes about 3 seconds to render every second, so whilst producing a 20 minute video, you have to wait an hour for it to just render it - and then it loses some of the bits it's rendered already, meaning you have to re-render it.
First off, I would like to mention that I have unchecked the option for "HD Video Processing (Shadow File)" So that's not it - Infact it would seem that no setting under preferences is the option to stop this.

The green line on the timeline is what's rendered, the one under the preview is how much percent of that second has rendered.
