I'm running the trial at this time. The new patch will not apply to it.
I tried to download a full trial again, but it's still the old build. Any idea when it will get updated ?
I hope soon, as my PD11 trial will be over shortly. MSI X99A Raider

You can not patch a Trial version.

Patches are only for retail versions.

Trials only last for 30 days, even if you download it again.

Yes I know the trials only last 30 days. But sometimes a new updated full trial build is released, as opposed to a patch.

I believe if it is, before my 30 days are up, I would be able to install and try it.

Julien,

No. Cyberlink does not work it that way.

But what is the reason you are looking for an update ? What is the problem in the first place ? Win 10, i7

HDedit,
Cyberlink has updated prior full trials to newest builds for PD8, 9, 10 that way before. I just don't see it for PD11 yet. Maybe it's because that build is so new.

The problem is performance regressions in PD11 vs PD10 in encoding which are holding me from upgrading. MSI X99A Raider

The trial has limits:
Limitations
•30-day working trial
•SmartSound Library trial version
•Reduced templates pack
•Reduced NewBlue effect pack to 10 effects
•Does not include the WaveEditor program
•Importing and production of H.264 video files is only supported on Windows 7/8 or hardware platforms offering independent H.264 encoding

Those limits are not in the full retail versions.

The Trial is not a good test of HD performance on your computer.
Only the full retail has full HD capabilities.

Yes, I'm aware of the limitations.

The 30 day is the main thing that bothers me.

I don't use the Smartsound, template, newblue effect pack, or wave editor.
As far as H.264, I have an nVidia card which does hardware encoding.

Even using the hardware encoder, PD 11 trial is significantly slower than PD 10 , by about 25%.

The Trial is not a good test of HD performance on your computer.

I disagree, since I use the hardware encoding.

nVidia . I tried with a 560 Ti .
Also tried on another machine with an older 9800 GT.
The perf regression in PD11 is the same with both.
