I installed this patch and tried to play a selection from the YouTube list. After closing and rebooting my computer, it worked for many of the Videos. I did get a error message for the Adele video that said Power DVD 12 could not play that video format.

Note: I had almost a computer hang the first time I tried and Task Manager would open and when I tried to close PDVD 12, it would disappear. I was able to use it to reboot my computer however.

If you try rebootiing right after installing the patch, you should not have any surprises. .
