PATCH: PowerDVD 11 v2329 in Windows XP has problem with PDVD11Serv.exe

After the upgrade patch 2329 PowerDVD 11, on Windows XP is a problem with PDVD11Serv.exe. To be precise, I made the installation of the patch in 2329, then restarted the computer and the logon window pops up with an error referring to PDVD11Serv.exe.
Here is a screenshot of the error:

Most interesting is that on Windows 7, so there is no error.!!!

P.S. Drivers have the most recent, updated DirectX, and installed the latest updates to Windows XP, antivirus software and firewalls uninstalled, installed PowerDVD 11 Retail Ultra + Patch 2329

Hi lisbon,

sorry for causing this trouble.
We have reproduced the issue and working on a new patch with high prio.

please roll back to previous Version (so only install patch v2211 and not to 2329)

OK 2329 was pulled (looks like for good reason), but what about 2408, which is rumored to be in the wild? I can't find it on the site.

Hi,

you need to start PDVD and the pop up message will appear in the right info pane of the OS.

You must have PDVD configured to connect to the internet in order to see the message
