I bought upgrade from 9ultra64 to 10ultra64

I installed file CyberLink.PDR10NR_toUltra_1005_GM2_113320_VDE110927-02.exe but I have problem with
"enter activation key from old version". "For this upgrade your system must have version 10.0 (???????) of power director. If you have an old version activation key, you can enter it and select next to pass this version checking"

Version 10.0?????? I bought VERSION 10.0 UPGRADE FROM 9.0. And the order is correct.

I have activation key only for 9ultra64 version so I can't install upgrade to 10.0.

Why this?

Thank you

Hi,
If you purchased the upgrade it has a separate Key and should have been emailed to you, or show up on support page under product keys (for your account)

Hi,
did you purchase online? if so there was links to 4 files to download, did you download them all? One was the program, one content Pack 1 and one content pack 2 and another you may be trying to Install a content pack or one that is not the actual program? Get all the downloads downloaded and save to DVD/Cd for safe keeping.
The upgrade is a separate full Program requiring separate key that should have shown on confirmation page or e-mailed to you.
JIm
P.s. the PROGRAM has *****.03.exe in it this is the program the others are just bonus'

I removed Power Director 9 from my computer completely including from registry before I installed Power Director 10. I installed PD10 update without any problems. Windows 8 Pro 64bit

I also downloaded same files, it removed the PD9 version during the install process. I have burned a blueray and it never asked for any activations at all. I believe a "good" (or lucky) download keeps the PD9 key information in the registry. I did a complete system disk backup (acronis) before the update, so i could get back quickly if things went badly. It sounds like you have some corrupted files and/or registry entries. Not sure a set point will get you back. You should have a new "key" in your reciept/invoice email if you downloaded from Cyberlink site directly (actually digital river site, as they handle the transaction).

I hope you wrote down the order number, you need it to re-download (you have 30 days if you did not get the extended option). Clean the registry (CLcleaner download from cyberlink site), delete all PD versions and try again.

It will be worth it, its faster and has some neat new features, but still some old quirks remain. RTX 2060 SUPER 8GB GDDR6

PD10 upgrade install...........

[size-13]I purchased and installed the upgrade, used the provided download page on the web site after I paid with Pay Pal, have not looked in my email at all yet. Downloaded all FOUR files.....

I uninstalled the trial first but kept the PD9 intact. Anyway installed the main, ran it, no problem with the provided key, it registered no problem.

The install of the upgrade (ultra) uninstalled my version 9. (no surprise there).

I then installed both content paks and the romance pak.

All my titles, transitions and so for the look like they are there. HOWEVER my trial version desktop icon worked... when I installed the main before the content paks I had the new PD10 icon, now that I have installed the content paks and romance pak I have no PD10 icon, it is there but it is the generic blank page windows icon. Even if I replace it from the start menu... or capture it with my icon extractor... BUT there is an icon in the PD10 folder that does work... Makes you wonder why a guy would use something for 8 versions.....
