Ditto, I applied 2 separate updates taking it to 10.0.2916.51 but I still get the update message on the screen and no playback.

Lets see how quickly they fix it or "advise us to upgrade to powerdvd11"

Nothing.

Not a happy individual.

Although, having tried another player in a 15 day trial, it runs like a dream!

Please, Cyberlink, sort it out!

Same here with PowerDVD 9, will not play Star Wars boxset disks, just get a screen saying to go to the CL website for an update, but I have the latest version 9.0.4105.51 installed. Very disappointing...

*** Workaround

I think the problem is with the BD+ encryption. I updated AnyDVD to the current version and after AnyDVD strips out the protection then PowerDVD 9 plays the disks just fine. Should have thought of this earlier.

Do you need to pay for the AnyDVD strips ? or is it a free progam ?

In order to play Star Wars, you must purchase PowerDVD 11. I've been using PowerDVD 10 with no problems until I tried to play Star Wars on Blu-Ray. You receive a warning saying you must go to the support website to apply the latest updates which actually don't exist. Now I can play Star Wars with PowerDVD 11 Ultra, but I am now getting intermittent choppy playback which never happened with PowerDVD 10. I think I should give up on PowerDVD and buy a standalone player.
